Amoxicillin is not very effective to treat syphilis.

Hello!I have been through your question.

Related your concern you should know that amoxicillin is not one of the recommended antibiotics for treating syphilis because it needs to be combined with probenocid to be more effective.
Penicillin G benzanthin IM is the best treatment for syphilis in any stage even in the pregnant women.

Usually in my experience I treat my patient with penicillin G intramuscular or with doxycyclin if they are allergic to penicillin.
