Brief Answer:
You have nothing to worry about!

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your blood pressure is within the normal ranges.

So you have nothing to worry about!

There is a high pulse pressure (difference between systolic and diastolic blood pressure), but this is a common finding in healthy elderly people. It may be also related to betablocker intake.

Nevertheless, as this is a borderline blood pressure, I would recommend some lifestyle changes:
- low salt and caffeine intake
- performing a lot of physical activity ( walking, aerobics, etc).

These tips will help you maintain a normal blood pressure and feel better.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
