Question : I took a Bio Rad multi spot rapid enzyme immunoassay test at 4 weeks post possible exposure. It came back negative, however, how reliable is this? I also took a Oraquick test at 5 weeks that came back negative. I'm very anxious and would like to know their possible accuracy at this point.
Brief Answer:
Which Generation of these tests have you undergone ?
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Welcome to HCM,
These tests are performed in generations. If you used that which only detect antibodies, it is a little too early. If you used the one which looks for viral particles, then it is very reliable.
However, I still advice that you send the exact test type so that I can provide personalized and helpful response to you. If in doubt, you can simply upload/attach them at the reports section
I wish you well
