Is CBD Cream Safe For The Treatment Of Pain In The Feet?

Question: I am 67 years old male in good general health. I had shingles about 9 years back. I got PHN in left bootom front foot. I got neuroma under my left foot and it fixed with cryo surgery. My pain was very slight and fine with orthotics. Three months back, I changed my socks to all cotton but they were very thin and not padded at all. Six weeks afterward, my feet started to hurt like before. Since it is localized pain, I have been advised to wear thick socks and use CBD cream. Is this cream safe ? Is it better than Voltaren gel? Any other ideas about this pain. Thank you.
Brief Answer:
Try Pregabalin
Detailed Answer:
Hi. Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I am Dr Anshul Varshney for your help.
You can apply any of the cream but that would just give relief for a few hours.
Now my recommendations would be to take a combination of Pregabalin and Nortryptilline once daily in night.
I am very hopeful that you will get very good results with this.
I hope it helps you.
If you have any further query please ask me.

Hi Dr Varshney,
Thanks for your response. I had tried Lyrica when I initially had the problem. It was too much for my entire syste. My pain is only in 1 in by 1 inch area. It is not continuous - only when I am walking. So I am looking for soft options.
Does CBD cream have any significant side effects? I might need it only couple of times a week. Any other simple ideas to reduce the pain which is mostly tolerable for me. Thanks.
