Brief Answer:
Yes you can take Celebrex

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to HealthcareMagic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in the best way possible.

First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through. Based on the history you have shared, yes it is safe for you to use Celebrex, as it is also a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug but it has better gastric safety profile and keeping in view your hiatal hernia, it's better to use the Celebrex than Advil.

Other analgesics which can be safe are Acetaminophen or if pain if severe then more potent analgesics like Tramadol can be used and all of these are safe in a hiatal hernia.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
Regards.
