Question : I have an absessed tooth and cannot get to my dentist right away, I have some Ciprofloxacin, can I take this to help until I can into the dentist or my doctor? 750mg

I have taken this antibotic for diverticitlus several years. Yes there is pain. I don't have an issue taking this medication. Just wanted to start something until I get into dentist next week late. Thank you.

Yes you can take Ciprofloxacin for tooth abscess but along with it you should also take Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen for pain relief..
