Question : Which is stronger clonazapam or diazapam ? Ive been takin clonaz for a few yrs but just got prescribed diazapam as my psychiatrist says it is the same just longer lasting. Im terrified to take the diazapam. They are both for anxiety

Both clonazepam and diazepam belong to same class of medications and act in similar fashion.

For the same action the dose of both medication is different so there is no need to worry about use of diazepam instead of clonazepam.

To clarify you will need 5 to 10 mg of diazepam for 0.5 mg of clonazepam.
