Question : My daughter is 9 years old and has fever. We are on vacation and don't have crocin syrup handy. Can we give her half of a regular crocin tablet for now?

It is definitely ok to give Crocin (paracetamol) tablet to your child. The only thing that you need to do is to take care of the dose. The standard dose of paracetamol is 15 mg/kg/dose. So, for a child of about 35 kg body weight, giving Crocin 500 should be fine. You need not worry.

Also give tepid sponging.
