Question : I am on lisinoprel, metoprolol, lipitor. I have stents in my LAD. Friends say take Dayqui for a chest cold. Is it safe for me? Thanks
Brief Answer:
Dayquil is safe to be used in your clinical situation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
Regarding your concern, I would explain that no one of Dayquil ingredients interacts with your actual therapy.
So it is safe to take.
It can lead to a slight increase in blood pressure and heart rate. But if you take it in small doses, there is no risk.
Hope to have been helpful!
