Diazepam is used to treat anxiety disorders, alcohol withdrawal symptoms, or muscle spasms. It is sometimes also used with other medications to treat seizures.
Mirtazapine is an antidepressant. It affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with depression. Mirtazapine is also used to treat major depressive disorders.

They both don't affect each other either in their efficacy or metabolism, hence they both can be taken together.
