Question : I was given azithromizin twice and chlamydia didnt go away , now i was given doxy. Will this work?

Doxycycline is second choice of treatment for chlamydia and in cases of unsuccessful azitromycin therapy,it should work in most cases. You should avoid sexual intercourse during treatment period and take lot of fluids and raspberry tea. Wish you good health. Regards

Should i wait a week after treatment if symptoms still show? Maybe its taking longer to exit my system?

Well,azitromycin should work after 3 days and may stay in body for2 weeks so you should wait till 2 weeks pass and then repeat std test.
