Is Duphaston Effective In Regulating The Menstrual Cycle?

Question: I am a morbidly obese PCOS person, did not have a period in the past 8 months. Can taking duphaston regulate my menstrual cycle and what should be the dosage and for how long.

for information, I have a 3 year old through a spontaneous pregnancy.

Yes, duphaston may regulate your menstrual cycle.
You can take it from the 15th to 25th day of your cycle every month, three tablets daily , depending on your body weight.
generally you would then bleed after stopping the pill on the 25th day.
Best is to have a prescription from your doctor with the details.
And again take it on the same days the next month.
Losing weight will obviously help with PCOS control.
