Brief Answer:
ELFA done at 14th day may be false negative.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to HCM,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern,
You are almost safe due to act.
Chances of transmission of HIV is very less in protected vaginal intercourse.
Oral sex is also not a major way of infection transmission but it is not zero.
So, it is important to exclude HIV completely.
ELFA done at 14th day may be false negative. It may detect up to 95% of infections at 28 days and more than 99.99% of infections at 90 days.
So,I suggest for repeat test after 3 months, this is only for our extra precaution.
Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your query.
Further queries are most welcome.

Sorry for replying late
PCR DNA test is used to detect viral load in already infected persons. It is not relevant in your case.
In window period, either PCR RNA or P24 antigen test is used.
Since you are exposed 28 days before, you may undergo combined P24 antigen and antibody test.It is highly sensitive.
You may need repeat antibody test(ELFA)after 3 months. It will be confirmatory and can detect infection in most of the cases.
