
Is ELISA HIV Test Done 5 Months Post Exposure Conclusive?

Question : Please doctor answer my question.Need help!!!
Early March i had a protected sex with a CSW and on 14 july i had fever, sore throat, nightsweat and lots of all ARS hiv symptoms..2 Aug i did Eclia combo test Hiv1/2 ag/ab not detected(negative)
My question doctor.
Are my test conclusive?cus it almost 5 months post exposure
And can ARS symptoms come this late???
Really need your help!!!

Yes,Elisa test after 5 months of exposure are very conclusive and negative means you are not suffering with HIV.
But as you are exposed to sex worker and having symptoms, I would suggest you to go for repeat testing after 3 months.
