Question : I had a core breast biopsy last week, results benign, but I got cellulitis on top of incision site. I have psoriatic arthritis and lupus like syndrome. Three doses of Augmentin seems to have woken up a c diff infection that I struggled with a few years ago. I'm on flagly now, off of the augmentin, diarrhea stopped a few hours ago. Taking Florastor. Anything else I should be doing? Any advice? Cellulitis gone. My stomach hurts, I have foul smelling gas, feel awful.

Brief answer....carry on with flagyl, florastore  and drink plenty of water. you are already doing enough. nothing else in particular to be done.
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
It is good that you have stopped AUGMENTIN.
You must keep continuing your flagyl for at least 5 days.
Continue florastore which is a good probiotic.
Drink plenty of water.
In addition take PANTOPROZOLE 40 mg once a day on empty stomach for 5-7 days,
It would take care of gastritis and pain in stomach.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
