Question : Hello Dr.Asmeet. I had a rapid hiv blood test done at 37 days which was negative, also an HIV RNA QL test done at 44 days which was also negative. Is there any need for further testing?
Brief Answer:
Go for HIV ELISA tests at 12 weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hi
These tests are negative which are fine.
I would recommend you to go for HIV ELISA test at 12 weeks as according to the WHO guidelines it is considered confirmatory.
If this is negative no need for further testing.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
