Is HIV Antibody Test Done 5 Months Post Exposure Conclusive?

Question : Hi, I do have a question regarding HIV test. I took a antibody-antigen test 5 months after possible exposure and the result was negative. I am wondering if the result is conclusive

I am so sorry to hear about this exposure. Your results, 5months after are conclusive. Antibody tests are generally conclusive at the end of 3months(maximum). With yours going to 5months, there is really no further reason to be worried about it.

thanks for the reply. so it means that I do not need to retake the test?for further information, my partner got tested too and his test result was negative too
