Brief Answer:
Yes it is, but you can go about another test for most accurate results
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. The DNA test is quite reliable when conducted at 8 weeks. But as you are extremely anxious, I would recommend another test called the HIV DUO test which is about 99.8 % accurately anytime after the 28th day of exposure.
Once this test reports a negative result, there is nothing to worry about anymore. I hope you find my response helpful. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.
