Is HIV Transmission Possible Through Open Wound?
Question: Hi doctor, I had a sex intercourse in Phuket massage centre with lady sex worker which is protected sex having male condom put to me, but I hada small rash line in between urinary balls and thigh. She moved her body near the bottom of mine and I feel her vaginal had touched the small wound line which was having cut like thin line to me. Now in worried whether I'm infected with any virus, plz help me whether I need to go for test after 3 months I'm really worried. From now on I decide will not do such mistakes and stick genuine relationship to my wife.

My wound was small and it was formed due to itching which is due to beach water and climate humidity.
I agree I need to wait for 1 month of time is there any other fast method to get tested. I'm really worried and unable to take this 1 month of time.
Plz let me know if I can start any medication.

I got info that scratch like wound will not transmit HIV and no risk of HIV.
My worry was with the wound may be touched with her vagina.
So can I remove fear of HIV from my episode.
Before this episode 1 month back I have tested for HIV and was non-reactive while giving blood donation.
What will be symptoms I would need to monitor in this 3 months.
