Brief Answer:
HPV infection will be transmitted usually following oral or vaginal sex

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. HPV associated throat cancer occurs from infection with HPV type 16 and 18 viruses.

2. Having sexual contact puts the risk of getting the virus.

3. Even in those with the virus infection cancer occurs rarely and you can get it tested for peace of mind again because old report is negative.

Hope you query is answered.
Please do write back if you have ant doubt.

Regards,
