Question : My Father-in-law was just prescribed Haloperidol 1MG. 2 tablets a night. It seems to help with his clarity-but not his sleep. Is there anything we can ask his doctor to prescribe to actually get him asleep instead of wandering around the house all night?
He has advanced Alzheimer's...Dementia

Non-benzodiazepine hypnotics like 'Zolpidem' can be given for a short course to help with his sleep.
