Is I Pill Effective When Taken With Period Delaying Tablets?

Question: Hi i am 24 years old.. From part one week i have been taking tablets to delay my periods.. But 2 days back i had unprotected sex with my husband and took i-pill after 2 hours of unprotected sex.. Will i-pill work while i am taking tablets to delay my periods?

Actually, while you are taking Norethisterone pill to delay your period, you don't need any kind of emergency pill (like I-Pill) to prevent unwanted pregnancy as you are already SAFE due to an-ovulation.

If you have already taken I-pill within 2 hrs of unprotected sex 2 days back, you will get additional protection. You don't need to be worried.
