Is INR Test Advisable While On Warfarin?

Question : i've have just been prescribed 10mg of apixiban. do i have to have check ups for my IRN.
I have heart failure and due to have a mitral & tuscupid valve operation in due course. I have been taking warfarin previously but had adverse side effects

You don't need to monitor I.N.R levels. I.N.R is monitored when you use warfarine, since the Apixaban has a different mechanism of action you don't need to measure I.N.R.
