Brief Answer:
Ketamine is considered a possibility in cases such yours.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

It is true that ketamine in subanesthetic doses ( mainly as nasal spray ) is studied as an alternative for refractory migraine and depression.

However it is evaluated as a possibility only in cases that other treatment possibilities failed to improve the patient's condition.

You should discuss with your Neurologist first about the indications.

One clinic near you is:
XXXXXXX Peterson, MD
Froedert Pain Management
959 North Mayfair Road
Wauwatosa, WI 414‐955‐7600

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Take care.
