Question : Which one is more effective for GAD and social anxiety, klonopin or ativan.

my choice is klonopin.

Welcome to HCM.

In my opinion, klonopin is better.

Klonopin has a longer half life than ativan and thus lesser chances of dependence.

Efficacy-wise, benzos have equivalent doses like 0.5mg klonopin is equal to 2 mg ativan.

So, my choice would be klonopin.
