As we discussed earlier,findings suggests mild raised cholesterol and LDL level.Findings are not very serious.
Initially I suggest diet and life style changes to my patients.
He may need follow up tests after 2 months.If findings persists then statins like tablet atorvastatin 10 mg single dose at night after dinner can be taken.
Ultrasound of abdomen should also be done.
Please advise your father to go for brisk walk regularly.
Avoid saturated fat and high fat milk products.
Avoid fried food and take lot of fibers like salad in diet.
He may also need vitamin D supplementation.
