Brief Answer:
THey are very different!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

These medications are very different.

Levotiroxona is for the thyroid.
Simvastatin if for bad cholesterol
Amoxicillin is an antibiotic.

They are all very different and used for for different conditions. One cannot be used in place of the other. Please, if you are having difficulties with your medications, ask the prescribing physician or present the details here for us to assist you with it.

I hope this helps. I wish you well and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
Continue the treatment as recommended!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Phlegm should generally subside sometime after treatment is even completed. It is not a sign of failure of treatment. What guides us to say you are getting better are no fevers, improved breathing, etc.

I suggest you continue with recommended treatment and don't be afraid that this signals treatment failure.

I wish you well.

Brief Answer:
Amoxicillin is good for cough!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up and precision.

Yes, Amoxicillin is a good drug for cough. Follow through with the treatment and unless you fail to improve which would be marked by symptoms such as persistent fever, chest pains, difficulties breathing, etc. Cough in itself is not suggestive of a failed treatment.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks and let me know if I addressed all your concerns. Also,, tell me if you have been feeling better or not.
