Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Lipocut 120mg contains orlistat which is a statin used to reduce cholesterol. So if you have done any lipid profile recently and found to have increased LDL then you might need to start on statins.
Victoza is antidiabetic medication and not for weight loss. It is controlling your blood sugar levels.
According to protocols patients with diabetes and hypertension, we normally start then with statins. So I think you can also start lipocut.
But one small advice here that it will be better to have a baseline lipid profile done before you start the med. Get it done in morning in fasting state.
Then you can start lipocut 120mg once in night before you sleep. But start after you do lipid profile study.
I hope I have answered your query well.
If you have any questions kindly ask me back.
Thank you
