I want to get off the Xanax and smoke some small amounts of marajuana--which in the past always put me to sleep. Which is the lesser of two evils? Marajuana or Xanax?
Xanax is better medicine for sleep.
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
You have undergone liver transplantation and are on Cyclosporine 125 mg per day. You are on Xanax 0.5 mg for sleep. If we compare Xanax and Marijuana for sleep then in my opinion Xanax is safer and good alternative for sleep as compared to Marijuana. Please take the drug as per prescribed doses only.
If we consider drug interactions between Cyclosporine and Marijuana then there are no significant interactions between these drugs. Marijuana may affect the metabolism of Cyclosporine but otherwise no significant interactions if taken under proper supervision.
Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care.
Please don't hesitate to ask again for more doubts.
