Is Melacare The Right Solution For White Spot On Face?

Question : Hi Doctor,
Around 6 months back I got a white spot on my face. I consulted a dermatologist and she said it is p XXXXXXX and will be healed without any medication.But still it exists. One of my cousin is suggesting to use melacare cream. But I read that it bleaches the skin and once we stop using it we will become more dark. Is it true ?Can I use melacare or not suggest

I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gne through your query and i have noted your concern.

I suggest you to use tacrolimus ointment (tacroz forte 0.1% ointment ) twice daily, for the white patches of p XXXXXXX Rub it in gently with finger.
Melacare should not be used for p XXXXXXX

When can use the tacrolimus ointment doctor, I mean can I use while going outside or before going to bed?.
I have tanning on my face for that can I use melacare?

Hi.

Use a sunscreen, throughout the day, on all of face.
At night use Melacare-plus cream for XXXXXXX (Remember Melacare-plus cream is different from Melacare cream).
Use tacrolimus ointment only for white spots, once at night. P XXXXXXX may take 4-6 weeks to respond.
