Question : Hi there,
i had my last period 5 months back last month i visited doctor. She test my pregnancy first and it was negative. So she gave me meprate 10 mg tablet for 7 days for 2 times/day. After 1 month when i visited again she test the pregnancy once more and confirmed i am pregnant. Is it safe to keep this baby. I am worrying about Merprate medicine. Is it impact bad affect to my baby? Please help me.
Adding few facts along with my query. I had done S.FSH, S.LH, S.FT4, TSH, PROLACTIN, TESTOSTERONE, S.DHEAS, S.INSULIN And SCAN(B-mode Ultrasonography). Test results are in between max-min.

Brief Answer:
meprate is not teratogenic
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM ,
Meprate is not teratogenic to the foetus at all and hence you can rest assured that you child is safe . This is a synthetic progesterone and similar to what is present in the body and hence function in a similar manner as it would naturally perform in the body. It shall support pregnancy further and hence you need not be worried.
Wishing you safe pregnancy.
Regards
