Is Meprate Safe While Planning For Pregnancy?

Question : I am 40. I had previous hystory of bi-lateral ovarian cyst - remove din 2008. Then missed mis-carriage in 2010 evacuated via DNC. Then missed mis carriage (GTD?) in 2012. Again DNC (blunt) was done to remove the left over particlee of conception.
Now LMP was Aug 18th, usually i get periods in 22-24 days. Now 34 days past LMP no periods. UPT done twice came negative. B-HCG negative (0.01) yesterday. My Gyn asked to take Meprate-10 mg from 24th Sept.
Is it safe to take Meparte ? Why from 24th Sep when i am already 34 days from LMP and preg test showed negative?
Can i still be pregnant??

First of all I want to assure you that all things will be ok over a period of time. Be patient and be positive.
Since you have already conceived before you stand good chances of pregnancy again. As per history - NEGATIVE UPT and Beta-HCG indicate non pregnant condition. It could be because of various reasons, but you are rightly advised tab MEPRATE. If you want; you can take Tab. SUSTEN SR 200 mg instead. Both are safe medicines.
Indulge in regular exercise regimen and a healthy diet pattern; avoid refined sugars, deep fried foods and bakery products. Include plenty of fruits-salads-vegetables to your diet.
IUI can be opted for with ovulation induction medicines -tablets and injections ,ovulation study on USG.
Please do not worry, you are lucky enough to get pregnant, so thin positively. May you be blessed with bundle of XXXXXXX

Thank you very much. In hurry I forgot to provide some more info.Actually for last couple montsh my voice/tone getting worsened. I can not talk for long time as i feel pained to sustain the conversation. One of the doctor (who was treating my father) visually felt that while talking my neck region is swollen. He suggested to see General surgeon or endocrinologist as he suspected Thyroid issue.Due to some other priorities i could not consult. Meanwhile I had missed period and I visited Gyn as i described. I also told the same to my Gyn. She got Thyroid profile/Hb and fast sugar done. Here are the values.
fasting glocose-99
TSH 2.11
T4 Thyroxine - serum 8.8
T3 Tri odothyroninne - serum 0.81
Hb 13
B-HCG - 0.01
Seeing these can we completely eliminate thyroid issue? But i fail to understand root cause for my voice sustenance ( i feel as if i need to put lot of effort to talk) & missing period.
ALso if i take meprate can i go for IUI in the same ovulation cycle.
Please advise.

secondly, once your course of MEPRATE is over , you will get your next cycle in a couple of days. You can very well opt for IUI, in that very next cycle. Meprate tablets taken in the period before the menses will have no untoward effect at all in the new cycle.
Delay in the cycle is usually due to absence of ovulation in that particular cycle, which can happen occasionally. With proper ovulation inducing drugs,and with the help of ovulation study; IUI can be properly timed.
