Question : Hi doctor XXXXXXX hope u well. I was blessed with a baby boy MashaaAllah. Both me and Are are doing fine. Wanted to say thanks for all u help during pregnancy

Doctor XXXXXXX I had a question I'm not fully breastfeeding due to my conditions after labour I was unable so he's on formula and he' breastfeeds once a while. I had the baby on the 2nd of April. I was prescribed mycroval pill to take. Is that a good pill? And when do I commence the pill?

You can start the pill anytime now and try to stick to pills as before.
Regarding breast feeding I would like you to work upon it and feed the baby your own milk as much as possible
You have to keep patience and let baby get hungry and latch him to your breast to help him liking your milk.

I try to latch him on he just screams he sucks on it for abit and then he just doesn't want iv had people help. I try feed him everyday even it's a little. Thank u lots for ur help during the course of pregnancy and all your support.
Ok is this pill microval a good pill? The doctor told me it's very light the pill so I must take it everyday at the same time. She said mercillon has estrogen so I can't take that due to breastfeeding. Also, if I dont take the pill but just use condoms is that safe protection?

Yes dear it is a good pill and safe for both mother and baby but has to be very much on time without any miss
If you feel it will be uncomfortable then can use condoms regularly.
Breastfeeding establisheys in a couple of weeks usually so keep trying as much as possible

And what about the loop? Is that good too? Is it better to have the loop rather than the pill?

Loop is not better or worse it is a matter of convenience and cost actually
Loop is convenient but costly.
Protection offered is comparable
