Brief Answer:
not very safe...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

naproxen is a non-steroidal-anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which means that its potential side effects are more serious than the side effects of tylenol. NSAIDs may cause gastrointestinal bleeding, renal damage, liver damage, high blood pressure, allergies, etc. So individuals with a history of any of the above or with symptoms suggesting related disorders (like burning stomach discomfort for example) should avoid using a NSAID.

Tylenol effects can be potentiated with a mild opioid (low dose codeine for example). You're going to need a prescription for that though. Opioids if used sensibly may provide significant relief without serious side effects. Overusing them may result in addiction problems, so keep that in mind.

So in conclusion, I would suggest using a mild opioid with tylenol (or a pill with combination of acetaminophen with an opioid). If you can't find such a pill then naproxen use is acceptable provided that you don't have a history that may interfere with its potential side effects.

I hope you find my comments helpful!
