Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for trusting me with your health concern yet again.
Congratulations on your
pregnancy.
Let me answer your queries one by one -
1. Can you please upload the said
ultrasound report that mentions fibroids ? That will help me to comment whether
progesterone support is required. In general, fibroids during pregnancy represent an increased risk of preterm labour . Hence, progesterone therapy is definitely recommended to prevent that risk. You are prone to nausea and
vomiting, and Susten is aggravating that. I have an excellent suggestion to make. Stop taking the tablets orally, even vaginally, and take local gels. Susten and Crinone progesterone gels are available with an easy applicator for vaginal gel use. That will serve the purpose of progesterone, and eliminate the miserable side effect of nausea and vomiting.
Some women are prone to nausea more than others, the good part is that you have crossed 11 weeks, and from this point on, it will just get better. Just have saltine crackers early in the morning, before brushing your teeth even. Have small frequent meals all through the day instead of 2 -3 big ones. Let your main caloric intake consist of fluids - water, nimbu pani, buttermilk, coconut water etc. May I know which brand of Doxinate are you taking ? Personally I would suggest Sinate -OD .
It has to be taken just once a day, and is wonderful at mitigating nausea, vomiting and unpleasant sensations that you are experiencing.
Take candied ginger too all through the day.
2. There are no side effects of a sonogram, no
radiation involved. You can have multiple ones, as long as they are indicated.
3.
Neurobion will help in relieving nausea, vomiting and the
weight loss. It might be a coincidence that you vomited just after the shot.
4. Just the typed version of the NT scan is not enough for my comments. Please upload the NT scan report too, whilst you upload the earlier ultrasound.
5. Many women experience weight loss during the first trimester, and dont worry, as long as the baby is fine. You would pick up weight once 14 weeks are crossed.
All the best
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.
