Question : Hi I have not had a period since march 2013. I am trying to conceive. Been doing ovulation tests and they are positive. Would taking Norethisterone 5mg 30 tablets help to put them back on track?

First and foremost the cause needs to be identified as to the absence of menses . It's important to do further tests to find out why you aren't having periods . If normal ovulation occurs then bleeding should occur . Hormone testsand ultrasound is the first step . Norethisterone want help right now . It may cause withdrawal bleed once but your cycles can become irregular again . Ovulation induction drugs may be required . See a infertility specialist asap .
