Question : a gynecologist suggested norethisterone for preponing my periods.. but a person here in medical says it is a prepone tablet.. please suggest

My marriage is on 8th May. Last period was on 5th of march.
I need to prepone my periods so that bleeding would stop by 5th of May.

I am experioencing irregular periods from past 6 months, earlier my period cycle was on an average 29 days

Sorry for the long delay in my response.

As you have irregular cycle, you can take norethisterone tablets 5 mg. thrice daily for three days.

Start from 24th-26th april and you will resume your menses with in 2-3 days and you will get free before 5th may.
