Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that tablets melting in mouth, especially when held for many seconds to minutes in contact with saliva do not necessarily indicate an impaired physical integrity and suspicious effectiveness.

It will primarily depend on the excipients and the presence of some degree of tablet coating, whether it is more or less likely to dissolve in the mouth environment.

What is more important, if Norvasc pills seem to be wet, very soft, discolored, or crumbly before getting in contact with saliva (when you try to control them from package), then you shouldn't use them and contact with your pharmacist, as them may have lost pharmaceutical properties; so you need to replace them.

Just try the above properties to decide if they have unusual changes.

Hope to have been helpful!

In case of any further uncertainties, feel free to ask me again!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
