default
Posted on Mon, 19 Sep 2016
Question: Is Oxycodone A332 an extended release pill? I have some left over from surgery. I am experiencing tooth pain and wanted to take half a pill. However, I noticed they are not scored. Wanted to be sure it's safe to break the pill in half. Thanks

Brief Answer:
Immediate release tablet..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Oxycodone A 332 is an Oxycodone and Acetaminophen combination and OS an immediate release tablet..

As far as the concentration of the composition is concerned, you need not to break the pill and can take one pill for relieving tooth pain as the concentration of both the drugs present in the pill is appropriate and optimum to relieve tooth pain..

Also you should consult a Dentist to get checked for the cause of toothache and get the tooth treated accordingly to relieve pain..

Any further questions are welcome..

Regards..
