Brief Answer:
Needs few more tests to be done

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Based on the report of your PSA which is slightly higher than normal value of 4 I would state that it can be either due to
1) Enlarged Prostate which is common at this age
2) Infection of the prostate (Prostatitis)

I shall be happy if you can post me more details to help me in making precise comments
1) Do you have any obstructive voiding urinary symptoms like frequency, urgency, poor urinary stream etc.?

The PSA value of 4.8 is not to be worried for .However it needs to be investigated by doing few more basic tests to rule out cancer of the prostate .
1) Urine routine and culture
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis with specific attention to Post Void Residual Urine (PVR)
3) Uroflowmetry

In the mean time you can start taking antibiotic Cefixime and Nitrofurantoin twice daily along with Tomsulosin one daily .

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions, I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
