Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi... Please be rest assured. No need to panic and currently according to medical literature it is not known whether this drug passes into breast milk. So there is no point in panicking when the kid is normal.

I have a few questions for you -

1. Is the baby his or her usual self or did you notice any change after you have breast fed after taking medicine?

2. The usual side effects of this medicine in adults are - Drowsiness/ Insomnia/ Headache/ Rash/ Anorexia/ Nausea/ Vomiting/ Abdominal cramps/ Diarrhoea/ Tenesmus/ Elevated liver enzymes on biochemical examination/ Weakness... so if none of the above mentioned symptoms are present, you need not worry. But a word of caution is that hereafter (as you are breastfeeding), please consult a doctor before consuming any medicine.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you are happy with my suggestions, rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.

Thank you so much. I did ask the pediatrician and he said it was safe, but then istarted goggle-ing, and that never goes well. He seems pretty normal, happpy. How long after the feeding would i notice a change? How would i know if he had elevated liver enzymes? What is the time frame i should observe? By the way i will be rating very high for you. Thank you for calming me down.

Brief Answer:
Your kid is completely well- no investigations

Detailed Answer:
Hi...
1. If till now nothing has happened - nothing will happen hereafter.
2. You cannot clinically find out about elevated liver enzymes - we need to do a blood test - which is not indicated here.
3. No need to observe any time frame as the kid is well now.

I wish your kid a very bright future. If you need any future medical consultation and suggestions, I will be glad to help. You can approach me at the following link. Please find the link below.
