
Is Regestrone The Right Medicine For Delay In Periods?

Question: hi i am 22 yrs , i dint have an intercourse with my would be but he rubbed his thing on my vagina with out
protection on 15th Dec,usually i used get periods regularly by 21st of every month,but today is 30 Dec it is due by 9 days..i took a home pregnancy test today (30 Dec)which showed negative..i consulted doctor she gave me regestrone 10mg tab asked me to take twice a day for 5 days...please tell me whether it will work for me to get my periods????

thanks alot mam , but the doctor suggested me to take a scan if i want,she told me if i want to know that im pregnant immediately..do you suggest me to take a scan in safer side??
