Question : Hi my mother has dementia and PPA. She has been recommended Riconia as a multivitamin. Is it safe to take the same with Donamem 10 and Strocit P?

she was on Admenta 5 BD till date for last 3 years. recently we showed her to a neurologist since her Aphasia was progressing and she was loosing vocabulary& sentence building. so the dr suggested these changes in medicine i.e. Donamem 10 once a day after lunch and Strocit P BD along with Riconia.
Now we have started both medicine and she is complaining of Headache for last 2 days since the medicine change happened and is also feeling weak. So should we continue the medicines or would you suggest otherwise?
another query is that i'm not getting Riconia but Riconia Lp or Riconia Silver or riconia G, im confused as to which one to take?

I would insist you to continue the medicines while you update the problems to your treating physician/neurologist. Please do not stop in the meantime. Based on his findings your doctor might change the medications or their dose suitably.
You may give Riconia Silver. Frankly speaking it does not matter at all because unless there is a specific vitamin deficiency the vitamins in Riconia would simply be flushed down with urine (as the body does not store excess vitamins). So, whether you give Riconia, Riconia Silver or not at all - it hardly matters.
