Question : I am taking Karvea (irbesartan 300mg) One Tablet Daily . Can I take a Sudafed tablet for nasal congestion?

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and noted your concern.
Decongestant medicines like SUDAFED increase the blood pressure by increasing your heart rate and by constricting your blood vessels. They also tend to lower the effect of anti hypertensive medicines.
You must avoid such type of medicines if having high blood pressure and specially in old age.
You may put nasal saline drops in your nose 2-3 times a day and can take FEXOFENADINE in the Dose of 180 mg once daily to help your nasal congestion.
