Brief Answer:
I would like to repeat the test after 2-3 months

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

I have gone through the report. This shows normal T3 and T4 level with mildly raised TSH level.
Raised TSH when associated with low serum level of T3 and T4 suggests hypothyroidism and needs supplementation of thyroxine from outside.
Only increase in TSH level can be seen in subclinical hypothyroidism(a condition where symptoms are not evident yet). But for labelling as a case of subclinical hypothyroidism the TSH level should be at least twice than normal limit.
So here I wont get overly worried and would like to get the test repeated once after 2-3 months.
I would like to know why this test was suggested.
In case of presence of suggestive symptoms of hypothyroidism I would like to get anti thyroid peroxidase(anti TPO) antibody done to rule out possibilty of hypothoidism if any.

I hope this helps.
Please let me know in case you have any more query

regards

Brief Answer:
Please get the thyroid function test repeated with anti TPO level

Detailed Answer:
Hypothyroidism is one of the most common cause of excessive weight gain. But mildly raised level of TSH does not suggest hypothyroidism.I suggest you to get the test repeated(as there may be lab variation)along with the anti TPO level.Raised anti TPO would give a clue towards the diagnosis of hypothyroidism.
Also other causes of weight gain like Cushing syndrome(due to raised cortisol level)should also be ruled out if symptoms are suggestive.
Regards
