                                            Question : I'm 12 week pregnant.... Initially I was taking Thyronorm 50 mcg .. last month TSH test was done and value was 5.56 after that doctor increased dosage to 62.5 mcg... but today I check TSH value is 5.46 ...there is no change in tsh value.... why TSH value dint reduce and does TSH value affect baby development

pregnancy is one time when you do not monitor your thyroxine dose by TSH, rather by FT4. TSH may be still low due to hcg homology, but FT4 needs to be maintained in high normal range. so please check your FT4 and let me know.
