Brief Answer:
are you symptomatic?

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX, Vitamin D deficiency reports are very common and on the rising horizon. What I suggest my patients is to find out if they are symptomatic? i.e. overly tired, fatigued, high cholesterol etc. If yes , treat it with vitamin D cholecalciferol 60, 000 IU once a week for 12 weeks , and repeat the test and also see if you have improved upon your symptoms. If No, then forget the report.
