Hello,

the dosage for patients with renal disease depends on the glomerular filtration rate (GFR). For GFR equal or above 50mL/min 10mg per day (the normal dosage) can be given. For GFR between 30-50mL/min 5mg is preferred. Patients with stage 4 (15-29mL/min) may take 5mg every 2 days. Patients with end stage renal disease should not take it at all!
