Dear Ms, zetia is not contraindicated in hypothyroidism patient's. it is contraindicated in liver, kidney and muscle diseases. on the other hand zetia causes the side effects of muscles and joints pain. the symptoms you are experiencing are side effects of zetia. I hope I answered your question
