Question : I am currently on a 10 day pill test for bad bacteria prescribed by a Gastroenterolgist, using PPI, PYLERA,

and Digesta, after 10 days they are going to test me 3 weeks later. Is this a necessary test

This is to make sure that the germ was effectively eradicated. it is necessary and I recommend you follow up with. You would ideally do this 4weeks after completing treatment and being off PPIs for at least 2weeks prior to testing.
